Exam overview

REET yaani Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers, Rajasthan ke government schools me classes 1 se 8 tak padhane ke liye eligibility tay karne wala state-level test hai. Iska base NCTE ka wo rule hai jo kehta hai ki elementary level par teacher banne ke liye candidate ko ek Teacher Eligibility Test qualify karna zaroori hai. Central level par CTET wahi kaam karta hai, state level par har rajya apna TET karata hai — Rajasthan ka TET hi REET hai. Exam do levels me hota hai: Level 1 un logon ke liye jo primary classes (1 se 5) padhana chahte hain, aur Level 2 un logon ke liye jo upper primary (6 se 8) padhana chahte hain. Dono dene ki permission hoti hai agar aap dono ki eligibility conditions poori karte hain.

Conducting body ke maamle me yahan thoda dhyaan dene ki zaroorat hai, kyunki isi jagah sabse zyada confusion hoti hai. REET eligibility exam Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (BSER, Ajmer) karata hai — wahi board jo RBSE 10th aur 12th boards karata hai. Lekin REET qualify karne ke baad jo actual teacher recruitment hoti hai (jise aam taur par REET Mains ya Level 1 / Level 2 bharti kaha jata hai), wo Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB, pehle RSMSSB) ke through hoti hai. Yaani ek hi career path par do alag authorities kaam karti hain: eligibility BSER ke paas, aur selection state ki staff selection body ke paas. Isi wajah se notification, application portal, admit card aur result alag-alag websites se aate hain — aur isi wajah se bahut candidates ek hi portal dekhte reh jaate hain aur doosri authority ka notification miss kar dete hain. Dono sites ko bookmark karke rakhna is exam ki sabse chhoti aur sabse zyada faayde wali aadat hai.

Sabse badi galatfehmi jo students ke man me baithi hoti hai: “REET nikal gaya matlab naukri lag gayi.” Aisa nahi hai. REET ka certificate sirf ye kehta hai ki aap teacher banne ke liye eligible hain — ye appointment letter nahi hai. Merit aur posting alag recruitment process se tay hoti hai, jisme REET score ka weightage hota hai lekin sirf wahi factor nahi hota. Doosri common galatfehmi ye hai ki Level 2 “bada” exam hai aur Level 1 “chhota”. Dono ka difficulty pattern alag hai, syllabus alag hai, aur dono ki apni-apni competition hoti hai — level wo choose karein jo aapki qualification aur jis age-group ko aap actually padhana chahte hain, usse match kare. Eligibility qualifications, certificate validity, attempts, application fees aur category-wise qualifying criteria jaise saare points har cycle me revise ho sakte hain, isliye unhe hamesha official notification se confirm karein.

Selection stages

  • Eligibility check (pehla filter): Level 1 ke liye generally senior secondary + elementary education ka teaching qualification (jaise D.El.Ed.) type ka requirement hota hai, aur Level 2 ke liye graduation + relevant teaching qualification (jaise B.Ed.) type ka. Exact qualification list, relaxations aur “appearing candidates” allowed hain ya nahi — ye har notification me badal sakta hai, isliye official notification se confirm karein.
  • REET eligibility exam (BSER): Objective-type paper, jisme Level 1 ke liye ek paper aur Level 2 ke liye alag paper hota hai. Dono levels ke liye apply karne par dono papers dene hote hain. Paper ka pattern, number of questions, duration, marking scheme aur category-wise qualifying criteria official notification se confirm karein — ye details cycle-to-cycle badal sakti hain.
  • REET certificate: Qualify karne par eligibility certificate milta hai. Certificate ki validity aur score-improvement se jude rules pichhle kuch saalon me change hue hain, isliye apne certificate ki validity BSER ki official site ya notification se confirm karein.
  • Recruitment exam (RSSB / staff selection stage): Ye alag notification, alag application aur alag exam hota hai — isi ko log “REET Mains” kehte hain. Isme subject-specific depth, Rajasthan GK, aur educational psychology / school-subject portions ka weight badh jata hai, aur yahi stage merit banata hai.
  • Document verification aur appointment formalities: Final stage, jisme qualification certificates, category certificates aur Rajasthan se jude documents verify hote hain, uske baad posting ki process chalti hai.

Decisive stage kaunsa hai: REET eligibility exam qualify karna relatively achievable hai — ye qualifying-nature ka filter hai, isme aapko sirf apni category ka criteria paar karna hota hai, doosron ko harana nahi. Jo stage actually aapki naukri tay karta hai wo recruitment exam hai, kyunki wahan competition lakhon candidates me se limited posts ke liye hoti hai aur merit har ek number par tanti hai. Isliye samajhdar candidates REET ki taiyari isi tarah karte hain ki wahi base recruitment exam me bhi kaam aaye — do alag-alag taiyariyan karne ke bajaye ek overlapping foundation banate hain.

Subjects & syllabus areas

  • Child Development & Pedagogy (dono levels me): Development ke concepts, learning theories (Piaget, Vygotsky, Kohlberg type), individual differences, inclusive education, special needs aur gifted children, assessment aur evaluation, motivation, aur teaching-learning ke principles. Ye section dono levels ka common backbone hai.
  • Language I: Aapki chosen language (Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Urdu, Sindhi, Punjabi, Gujarati jaise options) ka grammar, comprehension aur us language ki pedagogy — yaani wo language kaise padhayi jaati hai, language acquisition vs learning, errors ka treatment, evaluation.
  • Language II: Ek doosri language, same structure me — grammar, unseen passage, aur teaching methodology. Language I aur Language II ek hi nahi ho sakti, aur available language options official notification se confirm karein.
  • Level 1 — Mathematics: Primary-level arithmetic aur geometry ke concepts, number system, fractions, measurement, data handling, plus maths ki pedagogy — bachchon me numerical concepts kaise develop hote hain, common errors, remedial teaching.
  • Level 1 — Environmental Studies (EVS): Family, plants, animals, food, shelter, water, travel, our environment, health aur hygiene, saath hi EVS ki teaching methodology — significance, doosre subjects ke saath integration, activity-based learning, experimentation aur discussion.
  • Level 2 — Mathematics & Science (maths/science background walon ke liye): Upper-primary level algebra, geometry, mensuration, statistics; science me physical, chemical aur biological concepts — matter, force aur motion, light, electricity, living world, human body, food aur nutrition — plus dono ki pedagogy.
  • Level 2 — Social Studies (arts background walon ke liye): History, geography, civics/political life, economics ke upper-primary concepts, plus social science teaching ke methods, source-based learning, map work aur project work.
  • Rajasthan-specific portion: REET aur uske aage ke recruitment stage me Rajasthan ka geography, history, culture, art, folk traditions, schemes aur educational policies ka weight hota hai. Exact distribution official notification se confirm karein.

Preparation strategy

Sabse pehle level ka faisla thanda dimaag se lein, kyunki isi ek decision par aapki poori study plan tiki hai. Agar aap Level 2 de rahe hain to Maths & Science ya Social Studies me se ek stream choose karni hoti hai — aur ye choice aapki graduation background aur aapke genuine comfort dono se match honi chahiye, sirf “iska cutoff kam jaata hai” sunkar nahi. Level decide karne ke baad official syllabus ka PDF nikal kar uska print le lein aur usi ko apna master checklist banayein. Market ki koi bhi book syllabus ko replace nahi karti; book sirf syllabus ke points ko explain karne ka zariya hai. Har topic ke saamne teen column banayein — padha, revise kiya, questions solve kiye — aur poore preparation cycle me wahi ek sheet chalayein.

Early phase me do cheezon par sabse zyada time dein: Child Development & Pedagogy, aur apni Language I ki pedagogy. Wajah simple hai — ye sections dono levels me hain, inka syllabus relatively stable rehta hai, aur inme scoring consistent hoti hai agar concepts clear hon. CDP ko ratne ki koshish mat karein; theories ko examples ke saath samjhein. Piaget ka ek stage jab aap kisi real bachche ke behaviour se jod kar yaad karenge, to application-based question — jo REET me kaafi poochha jata hai — apne aap ban jayega. Isi phase me apne subject stream ka NCERT/RBSE-level base bhi mazboot karein: Level 1 walon ke liye classes 1 se 5 ki books, Level 2 walon ke liye classes 6 se 8 ki. Ye books “chhoti” lagti hain lekin exam ka conceptual level wahin se uthaya jata hai.

Middle phase pedagogy ko subject ke saath jodne ka phase hai. Yahi wo jagah hai jahan zyadatar candidates fisalte hain: wo Maths ka content to solve kar lete hain, lekin “bachcha fraction me ye galti kyun karta hai aur teacher kya remedial step lega” type ke questions par blank ho jaate hain. Isliye har subject ke har chapter ke saath uski teaching methodology bhi saath-saath padhein — content aur pedagogy ko alag-alag mahine me mat baantein. Isi phase me Rajasthan-specific portion shuru karein: state ka geography, itihaas, lok-sanskriti, lok-devta, mele, boliyan, aur rajya ki shiksha se judi schemes. Ye portion silent scorer hai kyunki iska dayra limited hai lekin log ise aakhir me chhod dete hain. Language II ko bhi isi phase me barabar time dein, kyunki dono languages ka weight comparable hota hai. Weekly ek fixed din sirf revision ke liye rakhein, warna pehle mahine ka padha hua chauthe mahine tak reset ho jaata hai.

Final phase poori tarah practice aur retention ka hona chahiye — naya material is phase ka sabse bada trap hai. Poore-poore mock papers bilkul waise hi attempt karein jaise asli exam me hoga: ek baithak me, OMR sheet ya uske jaisi sheet bhar kar, bina beech me uthhe. OMR bharne ki practice ko halka mat lein — har mock me bubble bharna, question number match karna aur left-out questions ka system tay karna, ye teeno actual exam hall me time bachate hain. Har paper ke baad ek “error diary” maintain karein jisme galti ki wajah likhein: concept nahi aata tha, jaldbaazi me padha nahi, ya do options me confuse hua. Do hafte baad aap dekhenge ki aapki zyadatar galtiyan teen-chaar hi patterns se aa rahi hain, aur wahi patterns theek karna sabse zyada marks deta hai. Previous years ke REET papers zaroor lagayein — na sirf answers ke liye, balki ye samajhne ke liye ki paper ka tone kaisa hota hai: seedha factual kam, classroom-situation aur application-based zyada.

Poore safar me do practical baatein yaad rakhein. Pehli, dono levels tab hi dein jab aap dono ke liye genuinely eligible hain aur dono ke syllabus ko nyay de sakte hain; aadha-aadha dono taraf lagana aksar dono me nuksan karta hai. Doosri, REET ki taiyari ko recruitment stage se alag mat samjhein — jo subject depth aur Rajasthan GK aap ab bana rahe hain, wahi aage RSSB wale stage me kaam aayegi. Exam pattern, marking scheme aur paper structure har cycle me badal sakte hain, isliye jis din notification aaye us din syllabus ko dobara apne checklist se milayein, aur koi bhi structural detail official notification se confirm karein — kisi WhatsApp forward ya YouTube thumbnail se nahi.

Common galtiyan

  • Pedagogy ko “easy scoring” maan kar last me chhodna. CDP aur language pedagogy me questions application-based hote hain — classroom situation dekar poochha jata hai ki teacher kya karega — aur ye ratne se nahi nikalte. Iske bajaye: pedagogy ko din 1 se daily routine me rakhein, roz 30-40 minute, har theory ke saath ek real classroom example.
  • Language II ko casually lena. Log Language I par mehnat karte hain aur Language II ko “aa hi jayegi” maan lete hain, jabki dono ka weight comparable hota hai. Iske bajaye: Language II wahi chunein jiski grammar aap comfortably handle kar sakein, aur uski teaching methodology bhi utni hi seriously padhein.
  • Elementary NCERT/RBSE books ko “bachchon wali kitaab” samajh kar skip karna. Exam ke conceptual questions seedhe inhi chapters se banaye jaate hain. Iske bajaye: apne level ki books kam se kam do baar padhein aur har chapter ke examples aur activities note karein.
  • Rajasthan GK ko aakhri hafte par chhod dena. Ye limited lekin detail-heavy portion hai — naam, jagah, lok-devta, boliyan, mele, schemes — aur ek raat me nahi baithta. Iske bajaye: middle phase se roz thoda-thoda, khud ke banaye short notes ke saath, aur weekly revision me shamil karein.
  • Sirf eligibility exam tak ki planning karna. REET qualify karna naukri nahi hai; recruitment stage alag authority ka alag exam hai. Iske bajaye: shuru se hi subject depth is tarah banayein ki wahi aage recruitment stage me kaam aaye, aur dono authorities ki official sites regular check karte rahein.
  • Unverified sources se pattern, eligibility aur “cutoff” maan lena. Har cycle me paper structure, qualification aur relaxation ke rules badal sakte hain, aur social media par purani information naye saal ke naam se ghoomti rehti hai. Iske bajaye: har structural detail sirf official notification PDF se cross-check karein.

FAQs

REET aur CTET me farak kya hai?

CTET central level ka teacher eligibility test hai jo mainly central government schools ke liye maanya hota hai, jabki REET Rajasthan ka apna state-level TET hai jo Rajasthan ke government elementary schools me teacher banne ki eligibility deta hai. Dono ka structure milta-julta hai — CDP, languages, aur subject sections — lekin REET me Rajasthan se juda portion hota hai. Kis exam ka certificate kis recruitment me maanya hoga, ye hamesha us recruitment ke official notification se confirm karein.

Level 1 aur Level 2 dono de sakta hoon?

Haan, agar aap dono levels ki qualification requirements alag-alag poori karte hain to dono ke liye apply kiya ja sakta hai; us case me aapko dono papers dene hote hain. Lekin ye tab hi samajhdari hai jab aap dono syllabus ko time de sakein — warna dono taraf aadhi taiyari se dono me nuksan hota hai. Application process aur fee ke exact rules official notification se confirm karein.

REET qualify karne ke baad seedha teacher ban jaunga?

Nahi. REET ek eligibility test hai — iska certificate sirf ye batata hai ki aap teacher recruitment me baithne ke yogya hain. Actual naukri alag recruitment process se milti hai, jo Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (pehle RSMSSB) ke through hoti hai aur jisme alag notification, alag application aur alag exam hota hai. Isliye REET ke baad bhi padhai rokni nahi hoti.

Level 2 me Maths-Science ya Social Studies — kaunsa chunein?

Wahi chunein jo aapki graduation background aur aapke actual comfort se match kare. Agar aapka base science/maths ka hai to subject questions aapke liye natural honge; arts background walon ke liye Social Studies stream zyada sustainable hoti hai. Cutoff ke rumours dekh kar stream badalna aksar ulta padta hai, kyunki har cycle me competition ka pattern badal jata hai. Kis qualification par kaunsi stream allowed hai, ye official notification se confirm karein.

Taiyari ke liye kaunsi books ka base sabse sahi hai?

Sabse solid base apne level ki elementary NCERT/RBSE textbooks hain — Level 1 ke liye classes 1 se 5, Level 2 ke liye classes 6 se 8 — kyunki conceptual questions wahin se uthte hain. Uske upar ek achhi pedagogy book aur Rajasthan GK ka ek concise source kaafi hai. Books ki sankhya badhane se nahi, ek set ko baar-baar revise karne se score banta hai.

Official website: rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in — latest notification, dates aur eligibility hamesha yahin se confirm karein. Recruitment (REET Mains / Level 1-2 bharti) stage ke liye Rajasthan Staff Selection Board ki official site bhi saath me check karein, kyunki wo stage alag authority handle karti hai.

REET ka syllabus, pattern aur previous year papers add kiye jaa rahe hain. Jaise hi publish honge, yahan apne aap dikhne lagenge.
